The EUROsociAL+ Programme has assisted El Salvador with several reforms of key public policies to improve social cohesion. It coordinates its activities with Salvadoran institutions through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Union’s Delegation in the country. Since December 2019, coordination and monitoring meetings with these institutions (country pre-round tables) have been held with the country's organisations in order to define priorities for assistance by the Programme and its implementation. In April 2020, another virtual pre-round table was held to identify actions and monitor those in progress. The process is ongoing in 2021-22.
