The EUROsociAL+ Programme has assisted Colombia with several reforms on key public policies to improve social cohesion. It coordinates its action with Colombian institutions through the Presidential Cooperation Agency (APC Colombia) and the European Union’s Delegation in the country. In February 2019, the first round-table session was held with the country, since when we have been working in continuous dialogue to monitor and coordinate the agreed course of action. On 5 March 2021, the 2nd EUROsociAL+ round table meeting was held in Colombia. It was a product of joint coordination between the DUE, the Foreign Ministry, the National Planning Department and the Presidential Agency for International Cooperation and EUROsociAL+. The result was the Second Colombia Round Table Document: A Roadmap, with senior authorities from 15 institutions in the country participating in the approval of a portfolio of 46 actions, some of which are continuations of projects launched in 2019 and others that respond to new needs to be implemented throughout 2021-2022.

October 2021 sees the onset of the exercise to systematise the results of the programme action in Colombia.
