16.1 To significantly reduce all forms of violence and the corresponding mortality rates throughout the world.

16.2 To put an end to mistreatment, exploitation, trafficking and all forms of violence and torture against children.

16.3 To promote the rule of law at national and international levels and guarantee equal access to justice for all.

16.5 To reduce all forms of corruption and bribery.

16.6 To create effective, transparent institutions which are accountable.

16.7 To ensure the adoption of inclusive, participatory and representative decisions.

16.8 To expand and strengthen the participation of developing countries in global governance institutions.
