The Omar Dengo Foundation of San José, Costa Rica, hosted a Euro-Latin American exchange on the innovation challenges of active employment policies, promoted by the Social Policies area of the EU EUROsociAL+ Programme. The initiative received backing from the Interdisciplinary Centre for Public Policies (CIPP) at the Alberto Hurtado University of Chile and the Ministry of Labour and Social Security of Costa Rica.

The EUROsociAL+ European Union Programme held the seminar "Care as the Fourth Pillar of Social Welfare Systems" at the Palacio San Martin, in Buenos Aires, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of the Argentine Republic, the Ministry of Women, Gender and Diversity of the Nation and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Public Policies of the Alberto Hurtado University of Chile.

Experts from Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Peru met the team from the Social Policies area of the EUROsociAL+ Programme at the School of Hospitality and Gastronomy, Casa del Marqués in Cartagena (Colombia) to build a roadmap to make labour skills certifications valid in the four PA member countries.

The EUROsociAL+ Programme of the European Union and the Inter-American Commission of Women of the Organization of American States, within the framework of International Women's Day, presented the Inter-American Model Law on Care, a specific instrument now available to States, civil society organisations, companies and people involved in addressing the care emergency from a gender equality approach.

EUROsociAL+, an European Union / Latin American Social Cohesion programme, organised the High-Level Meeting on Gender Equality "Two Continents United for Equality" attended by 25 institutional delegations, 13 from Latin America and 12 from the European Union, key players in the promotion of women and their rights in both regions.

The main justice networks, the Ibero-American Association of Public Prosecutors (AIAMP) and Inter-American Association of Public Defenders (AIDEF), the international organisation the Conference of Ministers of Justice of the Ibero-American Countries (COMJIB) and the Ibero-American Judicial Summit, from more than 20 countries, come together in a campaign promoted by the FIIAPP (Spanish Cooperation) through the European Union’s EUROsociAL+ programme to promote access to justice by driving an international agreement forward that makes the 100 Brasilia Rules binding.

A new meeting of the Latin American Network to start regional Mapping on triple impact public policies and businesses in Latin America, supported by the EU through EUROsociAL+, was attended by public institutions from Argentina (Ministry for Productive Development), Brazil (Ministry of Economy), Mexico (Ministry of Economy) and Uruguay (Planning and Budget Office).
