“Paraguay Social Protection System (II)” Series: technical support from EUROsociAL+

We interview Fernando Lorenzo, former Minister of Economy and Finance of Uruguay; Marisol Touraine, former Minister of Health and Social Affairs of France and Fabián Repetto, international expert in social protection for EUROsociAL+.
EUROsociAL+ and the European Union have supported the design of Paraguay’s public social protection policy, a strategic priority of the country’s government. The Social Protection System seeks to articulate the intervention strategies for the entire public sector from the point of view of citizens’ rights and throughout their lifetime. It involves organizing, for children, for young people of both sexes, for workers, for older adults, women and men, all the relevant public policies and services.
