EUROsociAL and the European Union promote the development and strengthening of integration strategies in the territories of the trans-border basins of the Uruguay River and Laguna Merin, located between Uruguay and Brazil.
The institutions of both Latin American countries are working on this project: Congress of Intendants of Uruguay, Uruguayan Agency for International Cooperation, Departmental Administration 33 and the Uruguayan Delegation before the Joint Uruguayan-Brazilian Commission for the Development of the Laguna Merín Basin.
