Supporting the creation of Integrated Work Formalisation Centres in Peru

The social policy area of EUROsociAL+ in IILA carried out a final technical assistance mission together with the teams of the Vice Ministry of Labour of Peru that has allowed the action to be extended to other regions of the country.

Although this action had been initiated around the Formaliza Peru Centre in Lima, the authorities decided to extend the experience to different regions for which the instruments, the operating manual and management system, which are being developed within the framework of the support of EUROsociAL are proving to be very useful. At the end of 2019, four new centres are opening and ten more are scheduled to be opened in 2020.

Within the framework of this action, meetings have been held for several months to prepare and validate the Operational Manual of the Formaliza Peru Centre, which has recently been approved by the General Directorate for Overseeing of the Ministry of Labour and Employment Promotion of Peru. Through this machinery, work continues together with the computer areas in the development of the computer system for the Integrated Centres of Work Formalisation Services and in coordination with other organisations such as SUNAT, the Civil Registry of Persons and the Ministry of Production.
