Governance for Social Cohesion led by women in Latin America

There are many women leaders who are promoting the social cohesion agenda in Latin America in different areas: from access to justice, good governance, territorial development and public finances. The Governance area of the European Union EUROsociAL+ Programme, which is managed by FIIAPP, wants to highlight the work of twenty women who, within the framework of the actions promoted by the programme, represent this commitment to an inclusive and resilient reconstruction.

The General Secretary with the Central American Social Integration Secretariat is promoting the Central American Recovery Plan to configure more resilient, just, egalitarian and sustainable societies.

The Regional Defender with the Northern Metropolitan Defender’s Office is working for human rights through the implementation of a Defender’s Model in Chilean police units.

The General Director of Revenue with the Uruguayan General Tax Office has promoted a Taxpayer Attention and Assistance Model to facilitate citizens’ compliance with their tax obligations.
