Chile and the European Union

This event is part of the “Chile-European Union Forum” an initiative through which the European Union seeks to promote bi-regional dialogue around the essential contents of the new Chilean constitution. The event, which commemorates “International Women’s Day”, will address the progress and challenges facing the full participation by women in political representation and decision-making spaces, within the framework of Chile’s constitutional process, showing the lessons learned from European constitutions from the point of view of their diversity.

This event is organised by the European Union delegation in Chile, in conjunction with the Chilean Agency for International Development Cooperation (AGCID), the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Women and Gender Equity, with the support of the EUROsociAL+ Programme.
