Integration in the territories of the border basins of the Uruguay River and Laguna Merín

Starting with the International Hydrological Decade (1965-1975), initiatives such as the International Hydrological Program of UNESCO were generated, which promote policies in the countries to coordinate water management in an integrated manner by basins, particularly transboundary ones, with the aim of giving it environmental sustainability to the various uses that are given, including productive activities.
