Creation of the Economic and Social Council of Costa Rica

The creation and installation of CCES is a historical milestone in the country and responds to more than 20 years of demands from civil society to have an organic representation, which would allow to debate, analyze and propose actions, programs and public policies to the executive, to at the same time, be an active part of these. The Council was made up of 54 representatives from different social, business, union, religious, academic and civil society sectors in general.
