We interviewed Costa Rica’s Minister for Housing and Human Settlements, Irene Campos. Costa Rica currently holds the Presidency pro-tempore of SICA and is committed to the 3R Plan, Recovery, Social Reconstruction and Resilience covering Central America and the Dominican Republic. The plan was prepared with the support of EUROsociAL and aims to promote recovery and the generation of resilience in the region in three fundamental areas: social protection, employment and human settlements.
Ms Campos highlighted how institutional work is essential to achieve the success of this Plan, focusing on care for vulnerable families and a cross-cutting gender approach.
