The EUROsociAL+ Programme has assisted Ecuador with several reforms of key public policies to improve social cohesion. It coordinates its actions with the Ecuadorian institutions through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility and the European Union’s Delegation in the country. Within the framework of the identification mission carried out in Ecuador in 2017, the country submitted a total of 55 requests to the EUROsociAL+ Programme for support in its public policies (actions). In 2020 and 2021, virtual monitoring and round table meetings were held to identify new demands and consolidate the actions in progress. EUROsociAL+ joined the COVID-19 Consultations in the form of Team Europe with Ecuador, incorporating the requested demands into possibilities for assisting the country.
