Can transparency and access to public information contribute to the reduction of gender gaps and inequalities? Do men and women exercise the right of access to public information in an egalitarian manner?
These are some of the issues raised by Rocío Montes, the focal point for gender of the Institute for Access to Public Information (El Salvador) and member of the Transparency and Access to Information Network (RTA) supported by EUROsociAL+ which includes 17 countries in Latin America, as well as Spain.
