Goals to which EUROsociAL+ contributes

1.1 By 2030, to eradicate extreme poverty for all people in the world, currently measured by an income per person of under $1.25 per day.

1.2 By 2030, to reduce by at least half the proportion of men, women and children of all ages who live in poverty in all its aspects according to national definitions.

1.3 To implement at the national level appropriate systems and measures of social protection for all, including minimum levels, and, by 2030, to achieve broad coverage of the poor and vulnerable.

1.4 By 2030, to ensure that all men and women, particularly the poor and the vulnerable, have equal rights to economic resources, as well as access to basic services, ownership and control of land and other assets, heritage, natural resources, appropriate new technologies and financial services, including micro-finance.

1.b CTo create strong normative frameworks at national, regional and international levels, based on pro-poor development strategies that take into account gender issues, in order to support accelerated investment in measures to eradicate poverty.
