Design and implementation of the Regional Model for Territorialization of Public Policies

Publication date: 12/07/2021

The territorialization of public policies is one of the great challenges that central governments face because by introducing the territorial variable with the diversity and idiosyncrasy of the different territories of the country, it is necessary to include new elements in each of the phases of the policy cycle ( design, planning, execution, monitoring, evaluation). However, territorialization implies enormous advantages: it brings its work closer to the citizens, the government detects the aspirations and needs of the population in the territories, while the citizens have the means and channels to define and transmit their priorities.
