Good practices for the incorporation of the gender perspective in judicial decisions
Author / Authors: Alma Beltrán i PugaPublication date: 28/02/2022
Applying the gender perspective in sentences is going beyond the formalistic interpretation of the law and the letter of the law. It is essential that in the adjudication there is a balance between the legal materials that are available when resolving the case (precedents, norms, facts and evidence). This compilation of good practices to incorporate the gender perspective in judicial decisions constitutes a practical, dynamic and useful document for the improvement of judicial decisions with a gender perspective. Additionally, it has a training toolbox for the operationalization of the Gender Equality Policy and its Application Regulations.
