Square of innovation and social cohesion. Social policies in the face of global transitions

Meeting of the Social Policies area, coordinated by IILA, with three seminars on "Eco-social Transition" in Santiago, Chile, "Care Societies" in Buenos Aires, and "Labour Transformations" in San José, Costa Rica.

This initiative includes a virtual platform containing a wide range of content and resources that advocate the strengthening of social cohesion in three essential themes to address current challenges: the ecological transition, transformations of the working world and the development of care societies.

The “Square of innovation and social cohesion” will be launched and developed in three seminars:

• Santiago, Chile. 20 April: For an eco-social transition. Euro-Latin American dialogue on the challenges of social policies in the ecological transition.
• Buenos Aires, Argentina. 22 April: Care as the fourth pillar of social welfare systems. Euro-Latin American dialogue on the challenges to move forward.
• San José, Costa Rica 26 April: Employment, economic recovery and transformations in the working world. Euro-Latin American dialogue on the challenges of innovating in active employment policies.

The platform and the seminars are an initiative of the EUROsociAL+ European Union Programme, through its Social Policies area coordinated by the International Italian-Latin American Organisation (IILA), in alliance with the Interdisciplinary Centre for Public Policies (CIPP) of the Alberto Hurtado University of Chile.
