Regional model of Municipal Transparency

The Transparency and Access to Information Network (RTA) and the European Union Cooperation Program for Latin America, EUROsociAL+, present the Regional Model of Municipal Transparency, an effort aimed at systematizing and consolidating minimum standards, prospects and good practices in matter of transparency and access to information at the municipal level in the Latin American region. This toolbox is made to draw a roadmap with strategies, resources, processes to have administrations at the subnational or local level that are more transparent and closer to citizens. This set of resources thus becomes the fundamental vehicle for building stronger, more resilient and responsive institutions, adapted to democratic demands.
