To stimulate new thinking on the structure and systematic theory of the crime, with the claim that criminal law not be elusive for women charged, we offer a guide to thinking defense strategies with a gender perspective, with reference cases where women were charged for crimes committed against their children as, partners or former partners or drug offenses. The publication has been led by the Commission on Gender Issues of the Public Ministry of Defense of Argentina, with the support of the EUROsociAL + Program, and is the result of an in-depth study of the characteristics of the legal defense strategies for women accused of crimes as well as the responses provided by the courts.
