Learn at work: Access to the labor market for young people
Author / Authors: Emmanuele MassagliPublication date: 25/03/2021
The authors of this publication reflect on how vocational education and training, and lifelong learning for adults, should change to respond effectively to the great transformation of work. What are the most suitable teaching methods? What are the best governance institutions and structures? What skills are most required in the world of work?
The relevant considerations, contained in the articles presented here and written a few months before the world was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, are still valid. The emergency has only highlighted some aspects of the problem, which should not be underestimated in the future.
This compilation continues the series “Learning in social cohesion” and is related to the document How to generate employability for youth? Innovative experiences of training alternation in Latin America, the Caribbean and the European Union, Madrid 2019 (AA. VV.), Published by EUROsociAL + and the EU-LAC Foundation.
