In Latin America, youth has been taking on increasing relevance in public policies, for example the Youth Pact, signed in 2016 by 22 countries in the region, and which presents 24 agreements, each with a line of action. Another indirect indicator of attention to youth policies is the high number of requests for the EUROsociAL+ Program. Many of them are typical, such as education and employment, or situations of vulnerability (teenage pregnancy, minor offenders). In this way, youth has been configured as a transversal axis of EUROsociAL+, emphasizing, also with a gender focus, on reducing inequality associated with access to education, participation in the labor market and combating to informality, health and justice systems, participation in political life. This third volume of the Series Harvesting Results of the EUROsociAL+ Program presents experiences that seek to strengthen public policies towards youth.
