Author / Authors: Paula de la Fuente Latorre, Bénédicte Lucas y Ana Pérez CamporealePublication date: 21/06/2022
The experience accumulated during the years that the EUROsociAL+ Program has been running has shown that it is necessary to promote a process of mainstreaming the gender approach to guarantee results that benefit both women and men through a double strategy: develop positive actions or “specific agendas of gender” for the advancement in terms of policies of equal opportunities for women, as well as incorporating a gender perspective in all policies of all sectors. The purpose of this document is to publicize the gender equality strategy adopted by the EUROsociAL+ Programme, detailing its components in a synthetic and standardized way to facilitate its dissemination and replicability. In the first place, the theoretical bases that support the methodology applied to implement the designed gender equality strategy are exposed. Second, the components and tools to make it operational. Finally, the lessons learned along the way.
