Author / Authors: Sarah Peers
Publication date: 08/08/2018

This report is part of the EUROsociAL + action: “Plan to promote accessibility of girls and adolescents to science and technology training”, which is carried out in Uruguay with the National Administration of Public Education —ANEP—. This document contains various European cases of programs, actions, organizations, activities and projects, with the goal of increasing the number of girls and young women in S&T / STEM. The report focuses on the engineering and technology area, rather than on the biological sciences and health areas, because they are the areas where women and adolescents are underrepresented in Uruguay, as much as in many other western countries.
