In 2019, the EUROsociAL+ European Union Program promoted, together with the IDB and the French Development Agency, the creation of the Network on Long-Term Care Policies. This document has been presented at the VI meeting of the RedCuidar+ «Common challenges, shared challenges: the importance of a regional agenda for the consolidation of the network», in Buenos Aires (Argentina) on April 21, 2022, with the participation authorities from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay. This publication updates the panorama of advances in the matter in the countries of Latin America.
