Presentation of the Organization of American States’ Model Inter-American Law on Document Management

The aim of this event is to create a space for dialogue and exchange international experiences between bodies that promote transparency and access to information and those responsible for archives around the implementation of innovative document management models and their importance in guaranteeing the right of access to information, analysing the contributions of the OAS Model Inter-American Law on Document Management and its application guide. The development of these regulations, approved by the OAS General Assembly in October 2020, had the technical support of the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sport’s General Sub-Directorate of State Archives, the Network of Transparency and Access to Information (RTA), within the framework of the EUROsociAL+ cooperation programme with Latin America.
