The covid-19 pandemic is exacerbating the inequality gap, not only in Latin America and the Caribbean, but also in the European Union. This is making it necessary to rethink global goals and efforts for achieving sustainable development and reflect on how the countries in the two regions can move forward towards making the Sustainable Development Goals (#SDGs) a reality and in fulfilling their climate commitments to forging an inclusive, sustainable and resilient future. These were just some of the debates held in this virtual dialogue between Latin America, the Caribbean and the European Union.
The webinar was organised by the EU-LAC Foundation and EUROsociAL+.
